The Desert Lyceum was organized in the spring 2007 by the University of California, Riverside (UCR) Palm Desert Graduate Center as a non-partisan leadership group dedicated to exploring issues of consequence to the future of the Coachella Valley. The Desert Lyceum is co-chaired by Riverside County Supervisor Roy Wilson and Carolyn Stark, UCR Assistant Executive Vice Chancellor and Executive Director of the UCR Palm Desert Graduate Center.
